初學英語的人，常用expense來表示一切“費用”。其實expense主要是“花費”、“開支”之意，如current expenses“日常開支”，selling expenses“銷售費用”，travelling expenses“旅費”等等。在現實生活中，各種“費用”有各種不同的表達法：
01、admission (n.)指入場費
如：admission by ticket only
憑票入場
02、charge (n.)“原價、要價” 常用複數，主要用于一次性勞務所收取的費用，如服務費、行李超重費、旅館費等等。
如：What are the charges in the hotel?
這家旅館收費多少？
1. I'm sorry for being late.抱歉我遲到了。
2. I'm sorry to have kept you waiting.抱歉讓你久等了。
3. Sorry, I'm late again. I'll make it up to you. Dinner is on me. How's that?

我知道那可能聽起來有點扯，但我的鬧鐘今天早上不曉得怎麼搞的沒有響。
8. Sorry, I was delayed by a last-minute meeting.抱歉，我因為最後臨時開會而耽擱了。
